Anécdota October 30, 1810 Battle of Monte de las Cruces.

The October 30, 1810, in the present state of Mexico, took place near the Hill of Crosses, a fact of considerable importance weapons in the struggle for independence from Mexico.

Having formed the Insurgent Army, Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla headed for the capital of New Spain. Coming out of Celaya, the insurgents were already about 80,000.

For the 30th of October, the Insurgent Army reached the outskirts of Monte de las Cruces, where he met the royalist army commanded by Brigadier Torcuato Trujillo, who had ordered his troops to both sides of the Camino Real that went from Toluca to the City of Mexico.

Unlike previous feats of arms that insurgents had participated, this time in command of the troops went directly to the General Ignacio Allende, who was able to apply their knowledge in conducting military combat.
